The Marketing Alumni Association (MAA) of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura has launched its highly anticipated Undergraduate Mentoring Program, connecting current marketing undergraduates with seasoned professionals in the field. The program, kicking off in 2023, aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application, providing invaluable guidance and support to the next generation of marketing leaders.
The MAA boasts a network of over 1,500 accomplished marketing graduates holding key positions in diverse organizations both locally and internationally. This extensive network forms the backbone of the mentoring program, offering undergraduates access to a wealth of experience and expertise.
The program will pair undergraduates with mentors based on their career interests and aspirations. Mentors will provide guidance on career paths, industry insights, and professional development. The program will also facilitate networking opportunities, workshops, and other events designed to enhance the undergraduates’ understanding of the marketing landscape. We believe this program will be instrumental in shaping the careers of our undergraduates and preparing them for success in the dynamic world of marketing.”
