At the Marketing Alumni Association of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, we believe that education is the foundation for a better future. With this vision in mind, we have been carrying out our signature CSR initiative, “Bring a Smile,” for the past three years, striving to make a meaningful impact on the lives of underprivileged children in Sri Lanka.
On January 24, 2025, we successfully completed the third consecutive edition of “Bring a Smile,” where we provided essential educational support to students from economically challenged schools across Sri Lanka. Our mission is simple yet profound—to empower young minds by ensuring they have the necessary resources to continue their education without barriers.
Bring a Smile 2025 – Reaching More Schools
This year’s “Bring a Smile” CSR project was held on January 24, 2025, covering two schools in different regions. The event kicked off at 8:30 AM at Demadoya Primary School, where students received much-needed educational resources and financial support. Later in the day, at 12:00 PM, the initiative continued at Nikila Bobola School (Naula), bringing smiles to even more children.
Through the generous contributions of our alumni and well-wishers, we were able to equip students with essential school supplies, learning materials, and financial aid, offering them a brighter future filled with opportunities. Seeing the joy and gratitude on the faces of these children was a powerful reminder of the difference we can make when we come together for a cause that truly matters.
